Product Code
TOOLSLZ610

The PUK 6.1 is the new welder from Lampert, the timeless design of the Lampert PUK 6 has been awarded the iF Design Award in 2022 the new PUK 6.1 carefully advances its design. The PUK 6.1 more precise and faster than its predecessor. This welder also offers configurations of indiviual settings meaning there is a perfect setting for that tricky weld.

This PUK 6.1 has newly developed and expert-tested precious metal welding curve which produce even better results. Lampert's patended welding process controls to prevent welding errors. The joy-stick with a turn-push-tilt funcion makes it smooth and easy to use with one hand.

Lampert PUK 6.1 Microscope stand kit & Regulator

The new Lampert PUK 6.1 has a unique one-handed control, that allows the PUK to be easily controlled. The joystick design has a push tilt function that allows a greater level of control. The PUK 6.1 can weld up to 3.5 welds per second, with stepless adjustments of the spot weld sequence. The newly developed precious metal welding curves have been designed to cope with the hardest jobs. Lampert have optimised welding curves for all weldable alloys in jewellery manufacturer with higher maximum power and improved welding performance. Particularly with highly conductive metals such as silver, copper and tin alloys due to the new speed function, this means seamless welds can be created costume jewellery as well as fine jewellery. The new micro mode has been developed to allow a minimum pulse duration to 0.1ms. The patented welding process control to prevent faulty welds

The 99.9% Argon gas is needed to protect the welding area from oxidation. To weld using the PUK 6.1 an electric arc (energy flow) is created from the point where the electrode makes contact with the work piece and as the electrode retracts, the electric arc is drawn up from the point of contact. With this precise contact the metal melts between 0.2 and 3.0 mm in diameter (depending on the material and parameters being used), resulting in a clean and stable weld.

The high degree of precision is made possible by touching the work piece with the tip of the electrode, the electrical arc which is necessary for welding is generated by welding generated from the point of contact. By varying the angle at which the electrode tip contacts the work piece, the flow of energy can be influenced. Meaning welds can be accurately directed in the desired location on and previously applied metal can be modelled and distorted.

The PUK precision welding equipment allows a multitude of possibilities, welding findings, adding metal to a workpiece, joining metal together prior to soldering, welding a loop, filling porosity or welding seems, these are a few uses of the PUK 6.1.

The new PUK 6.1 welding microscope SM6 has a new elegant design that is perfectly tailored to the PUK 6.1. This microscope is ergonomically designed for optimum workplace comfort by adjusting the hight and tilt. The cushioned hand rests are designed support hands in a comfortable position. The powerful LED lighting in the microscope head have 4 levels of brightness to create optimal illumination of the working area. This SM6 microscope has electronically controlled LCD eye protection system and has high-precision 10-fold magnification.

Betts Metals are the official UK supplier of Lampert’s Jewellery welding equipment, accessories and service. The PUK 6.1 has 3-year warranty on the unit, handpiece and the microscope.
