Legor Ceramix is a transparent Nano-Ceramic E-Coating, which is a hybrid resin impregnated with ceramic, the addition of the ceramic particles means the coated work has a metallic sensation to the touch. Legor Ceramix has been developed to protected the item as well as offering an abrasion resistant coating, Ceramix is extremely stable and makes the piece more resistant to chemical contamination. When the using this solution the achievable thickness is between 5 to 35 microns whilst still keeping its transparent and undetectable appearance.

Ceramix eliminates the orange peel effect, this is a surface effect where the surface is uneven and resembles the skin of an orange, this effect is more noticeable on larger flat surfaces. Ceramix is a coating that can be applied to all conductive surfaces, metals with natural oxide layers such as steel, aluminum and copper will need a pretreatment to enhance the Ceramix coating adherence.
