This Pepetools Oval (Cabochon) Disc Cutter kit is manifactured from high carbon steel, the punches and the plate have been hardened to 48-52HRC, this hardness insures a lifetime of use and a sharp edge. Each punch has 5° angle that creates a shearing action that cleanly cuts the metal rather than tearing through like traditional disc cutters. The black oxide finish is a protective coating against corrosion.

Details
The plate of the Pepetools Oval Disc Cutter has recessed punch clearing design in the bottom plate. This disc cutter can cut materials up to 20 gauge (0.91mm) with a 2lb (907.185g) brass mallet, over 20 gauge a hydralic press is recommend. This kit contains Oval Cutter, Pepelube and Pepe Urethane 6"x 6" (152.4 x 152.4mm) cutting pad.
