The geared handle expands the central mandrel which evenly stretches the ring, by reversing the ring to make the increase even the band can be eased up to the required size. This action also acts as a press for reducing the wedding band size by compressing it into the profiled die below. The die is reversable with 8 polished profiles on each side to accommodate a range of band sizes, widths and profiles to help reduce distortion when sizing. For the best result ensure the wedding band is annealed before sizing.
